The new Westmorland-Kent Female Hockey Association has been establish in April 2006 to provide females a chance to play "The Canadian Game." Females of all ages are lacing up their skates! Whether you are new player or already playing in a Minor program - this is for you.The WKFHA invite all female from Shediac/Cap-Pelé, Kent-Sud and Kent-Center area to come out and lace up their skate. Today the number of female hockey teams and leagues is at an all-time high. Hockey is fun, safe, focused on fair play, fantastic exercise, and it's a great way to make new and lifelong friends. Through female hockey, players experience passion, exhilaration, and excitement. They are given opportunities to learn and improve technical skills, challenge themselves. In 2005-2006 season the under the South East female hockey Association ,there was 3 teams(1 Atom,1 Pee-Wee, and 1 Bantam) combined of players from Shediac,Cap-Pelé,and Kent-Sud. We hope this will interest in you, and your daughter into considering the opportunities that are available for her in Female Hockey.
